Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Pivotal Accountants ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you use pivotalaccountants.com.
What we collect
When you fill in one of our forms we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, town, postcode, business details and what you need help with. We also record the page you were on, the date and time, and basic technical information such as your country and the website that referred you.
How we use it
- To pass your enquiry to a local accountancy firm so they can contact you about it. We do this because you asked us to, and you confirm it when you submit the form.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To keep our service running, stop spam and improve the website.
Who we share it with
If you ask to be matched with an accountant, we share your enquiry with one accountancy firm that covers your area. That firm becomes responsible for your information under its own privacy policy once it receives it. We don't sell your information to anyone else, and we don't share it for marketing.
We use trusted service providers to host the website and send emails, and they only process your information on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years, then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer for legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email help@pivotalaccountants.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
